Instructional Tools
Below are some select Word documents and labs created for use during the semester.

This is an inquiry lab, where students had to determine the identity of two unknown metals using calorimetry. The purpose of the lab was for students to get practice with specific heat and to see how specific heat can be important.
In this lab, students heat and cool a cobalt (II) chloride hexa-hydrate solution in order to visually see the effect heat gain and heat loss have on shifts in equilibrium. This is possible because the solution changes from pink to blue when heated.
This activity is to review concepts covered in equilibrium. In this review, students must go around the room and get other students to answer the questions on their sheet and sign the box that the question was in. Not only is this entertaining for the students, they can review the concepts and I can see where students are having misconceptions.

Answer key for human bingo equilibrium review. Used to check student responses as they complete their cards.
